This page explains how you can request the deletion of personal data that Skoless holds about you, including any data received through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). Skoless is a school management system used by education institutions in Türkiye.

Most personal data in Skoless is entered and controlled by the institution you are associated with (your school, course center or similar). Skoless processes that data on the institution's behalf. Because of this, deletion requests are usually handled together with your institution — but you can start the process directly with us using the steps below, and we will coordinate with the institution where needed.

You can request deletion of your data in either of these ways:

• Contact your institution (school or course center) and ask them to delete your data, or
• Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request", stating your name and the institution you are associated with so we can locate your records.

To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Once verified, we delete or anonymize your personal data without undue delay, and in any case within 30 days, unless we are required to keep certain records for a longer period under applicable law (for example, financial or legal retention obligations). Data that must be retained is isolated and used only for that legal purpose until its retention period ends, after which it is deleted.

For notifications sent over the WhatsApp Business Platform, the data we receive from Meta is limited to what is needed to deliver messages and track their status (such as the recipient number and delivery/read status). This data is deleted upon a verified deletion request or when its retention period ends. You can also stop receiving WhatsApp notifications at any time by contacting your institution.
